🌟 Meet the Makers: Celebrating Creativity, Community & Local Flavor

The Oconee Farmers Market is thrilled to present our Farm-to-Table Dinner & Fundraiser on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the beautiful Thomas Cotton Gin in Watkinsville, GA.

This unforgettable evening will showcase everything that makes our community so special—fresh, locally grown ingredients, incredible local chefs, and the artistry of our market vendors, all coming together in one heartfelt celebration of food, fellowship, and creativity.

Here’s what’s in store:

🍽 A multi-course gourmet dinner prepared by chefs José Zambrano and Sage Patterson, featuring the best of our regional harvest.

🎶 Live music by The Solstice Sisters and Art Grider, filling the air with harmony and joy.🛍 A curated silent auction and vendor showcase, featuring handmade goods, farm-fresh products, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

💛 Community impact, with proceeds supporting the Oconee Farmers Market, Little Rose Organics’ Buds of Little Rose program, and the Oconee County Rotary Club.

🧶 Melissa Ashworth — Crochet Art

Welcome to my world of crochet! I’ve been perfecting my craft for over 50 years, ever since my Granny taught me the art when I was just seven years old. From pot holders and hand towels to cozy afghans, my journey has been filled with creativity and joy.

Recently, I’ve discovered a new passion for crocheting dolls and novelty gift items, and nothing compares to the delight on a child’s face when they embrace one of my handmade creations. Each piece I make is filled with love, patience, and tradition—woven together one stitch at a time.
