Spring is in the air, and with it comes the much-anticipated opening of the Oconee Farmers Market.
On Saturday, March 7, the market returns to our beloved home at Wire Park (1725 Electric Ave, Watkinsville) to kick off our 24th season of fresh, local goods and community connection.
We will be open every Saturday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM through October, with special holiday events planned for November and December.

Introducing Our Frequent Shopper Program
We’re excited to officially launch our Frequent Shopper Program this season!
Here’s how it works:
Pick up a Frequent Shopper card at the Market tent or at any participating vendors booth.
Each time you shop with participating vendors, receive a stamp. Once you have $100 in sales take your card to the Market tent and get $5 in tokens to use as cash at any participating booth.
Once your card is filled, or just turn it in monthly to be entered into our monthly drawing for Market prizes.
It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting local — and encouraging shoppers to explore all our incredible vendors.
Look for signage at participating booths and start collecting those stamps!
Kid’s Korner Returns
Families are a vital part of our market community, and this year we’re expanding our Kid’s Korner with special monthly events.
Each month will feature:
Vendor-led demonstrations
Hands-on learning opportunities
Seasonal activities that connect kids to farming, food, and creativity
It’s fun, educational, and a wonderful way to help the next generation understand the value of local agriculture and artisan goods.
Fresh Faces & Returning Favorites
This year’s market will feature an outstanding lineup of returning vendors — along with exciting new additions. From pasture-raised meats and seasonal produce to artisan breads, handmade goods, fresh flowers, and specialty foods, you’ll find the very best locally produced products our region has to offer.
Twenty-four seasons strong, and still growing — we are grateful for the farmers, makers, bakers, musicians, volunteers, and loyal customers who make this market what it is.
