Quality Over Quantity, Always by Hand

Since 2013, Whymss Farm has been quietly cultivating something special: real food, grown with care — the old-fashioned way. Nestled in Georgia’s fertile landscape, this farm produces a wide variety of vegetables and herbs, all grown without chemicals or machinery. Every seed sown and every crop harvested is done entirely by hand, reflecting the farm’s deep commitment to both the land and the people it feeds.
Owned and operated by John and Sharman, Whymss Farm proudly holds a Certified Naturally Grown designation — a mark they’ve maintained for over a decade. Their motto, “Quality Over Quantity,” isn’t just a slogan. It’s the heart of their approach: slowing down to do things right, using thoughtful, chemical-free methods that prioritize flavor, nutrition, and integrity.

In 2022, Whymss Farm reached an exciting milestone with the completion of their USDA-approved Multi-Purpose Processing Facility. This expansion allows them to produce a growing line of value-added items — from herb blends to preserves — all made with the same dedication and purity as their produce.
📍 Where to Find Them
You can find Whymss Farm — John & Sharman — at the Oconee Farmers Market every Saturday during the season, sharing their hand-grown produce and small-batch goods with the local community.
