When we made the move to Wire Park, we knew it was a big step — but what we didn’t know was just how incredible our first month would be.

In just a few short weeks, the Oconee Farmers Market has more than doubled its attendance compared to our previous location. The response from the community has been nothing short of inspiring. From early morning shoppers to families strolling through with coffee and kids in tow, the market is buzzing with life, energy, and enthusiasm.

Why the Move to Wire Park?

As our hope to grow our market continued, we needed a space that could grow with us. Wire Park offers the perfect blend of visibility, accessibility, and community spirit. It's walkable, family-friendly, and has quickly become a central gathering spot for Watkinsville locals and visitors alike.

A Month of Milestones

📈 Attendance has more than doubled, not only with vendors but customers as well, compared to last season.
🧺 We’ve welcomed 2–3 new vendors each week, bringing new products and fresh faces.
🌽 We now have 62 registered vendors — our most diverse and exciting lineup yet!

Each Saturday feels like a celebration. Vendors are thriving, customers are connecting, and the entire Wire Park community is embracing the market as a local staple.

Just the Beginning

If this is what the first month looks like, we can only imagine what’s ahead. We’re already planning new features, special market events, and more opportunities to support local makers, bakers, growers, and artisans.
