I started keeping honeybees over 20 years ago when our first daughter was born. I named the business after her, Abby’s Apiary. I’ve been sideline beekeeping ever since. I manage healthy bees using chemical-free methods, with the understanding that healthy bees produce plenty of honey. I don't treat the pests and diseases of honeybees with any substance that isn't found in your kitchen. My hives are strategically placed in areas with an abundance of preferred nectar-producing plants. Honey is collected and bottled without using chemicals or heat and with minimal filtering to give you the quality product nature intends.
