I’ll be honest… lately I feel like I keep saying the same things over and over. But maybe that’s because the heart of this market never really changes — and that’s the community that shows up every Saturday.
To everyone who shops local, supports small businesses, encourages our farmers and makers, and spends part of your weekend with us… thank you. You are what makes the Oconee Farmers Market special.
I hope all of our mothers had a truly wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. I hope you felt celebrated, appreciated, and loved — because you deserve it.
Another wonderful Saturday is in the books! With 26 vendors helping us celebrate Mother’s Day, the market was full of flowers, gifts, fresh produce, smiling faces, and families enjoying time together.
A special thank you to Joy’s Gorgeous Gourds for hosting Kid’s Korner and helping inspire some young artists with painting fun and creativity.
We also gave out the last of our oregano plants for National Herb Day! Watching children leave excited to grow something of their own was such a sweet reminder of what community is all about.
This Saturday is Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day is a time to honor the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Fresh Produce Is Arriving!
This is what we’ve all been waiting for…
With the recent rain, our farmers are returning with beautiful seasonal fruits and vegetables, bringing fresh flavors and color back to the market.
And yes — our beloved Tomato Lady was back for the first time this season. Welcome back, MaryAnn!
Many of our farmers sold out again this past Saturday, so if you’re hoping for the best selection, arriving early is definitely the way to go. There’s just something special about bringing home produce that was picked fresh right here in our own community.
