                                                                              Bring the little ones for some old-fashioned fun! This week's activities include a Three-Legged Race,                                                                                Egg Race, and other classic games that are sure to bring lots of smiles and laughter.

🧷 JUNE COMMUNITY DRIVE

​

Beginning this Saturday, we are partnering with the Athens Area Diaper Bank for our June Community Drive.

Diapers and wipes are among the most requested necessities for families with young children. Donations may be dropped off at the Market Tent throughout the month of June. Every donation helps local families right here in our community.

❤️ CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT ❤️

                                                                       Some traditions are worth keeping.

​

                                                                      Jayne Krewer McCluskie has been a valued customer of the Oconee Farmers Market since the market                                                                              began in 2004. Along with her late husband, Phil, Saturday mornings often meant a trip to the market to                                                                        shop local, visit with friends, and enjoy the music.

​

                                                                     Through all of the market's moves and changes over the years, Jayne has remained a familiar face. "Each                                                                         location had a different vibe," she says, but one thing has remained constant—the friendships and sense                                                                         of community she has found at the market.

​

Some of her favorite vendors over the years include Mary Ann, Carol, Joy, and Mandy. But what keeps her coming back week after week is much more than the shopping. "It's the friendships." For more than twenty years, customers like Jayne have helped make the Oconee Farmers Market what it is today—a place where neighbors become friends and traditions are passed from one generation to the next.
