Some of the sweetest memories of summer begin with a visit to Frank Fleming's stand.
Frank is a third-generation farmer who proudly farms 775 acres in Clarke County, including 1,050 pecan trees and 160 peach trees. Throughout the season, he brings the very best of Georgia to the Oconee Farmers Market—sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, peaches, figs, watermelon, cantaloupes, okra, and so much more.
But what makes Frank truly special isn't just the incredible produce he grows—it's the way he shares it. Whether you're looking for the perfect watermelon, wondering when peaches are at their peak, or just curious about what's growing on the farm, Frank is always happy to answer questions, share his knowledge, and visit with his customers. His genuine love for farming shines through in every conversation.
Shopping with Frank means more than filling your basket with fresh, locally grown produce. It means supporting a family tradition that has been feeding our community for generations and preserving the values that make local farming so important.
Thank you, Frank, for your hard work, your dedication, and for bringing a little taste of Georgia to our market each week. We're proud to have The Grove as part of the Oconee Farmers Market family!
Some customers become part of the heart of a farmers market, and Edna is certainly one of them.
Edna has been shopping with the Oconee Farmers Market since our days at the courthouse. Long before eating local became a trend, she was intentionally choosing fresh, organic foods and supporting local farmers.
Over the years, she's faithfully followed us from the courthouse to Harris Shoals, and now to our home at Wire Park. While each location has held special memories, Wire Park has become her favorite because it's just down the road, making it easy to stop by each Saturday for the fresh foods she loves.
We're so grateful for loyal customers like Edna who have grown alongside the market. Thank you, Edna, for supporting local agriculture and for being part of the Oconee Farmers Market family for so many years.

Which vendor are you missing? As our market continues to grow, we'd love to know what products, foods, farms, or artisans you'd like to see join the Oconee Farmers Market. Watch for our upcoming survey and let us know!
Thank you for supporting local farmers, makers, bakers, and small businesses. Every purchase helps strengthen our community and keeps local dollars local.
Father's Day is just around the corner, and this week's Kid's Korner is all about Dad!
Children are invited to stop by and create a special Father's Day card to take home. We'll provide all the supplies—just bring your creativity! It's a fun, free activity and a wonderful way for kids to make something heartfelt for the dads, grandfathers, and father figures in their lives.
