🍉 Produce Spotlight: Watermelon
Nothing says summer quite like biting into a sweet, juicy slice of watermelon! Whether you're packing a picnic, firing up the grill, or simply looking for a refreshing afternoon snack, watermelon is one of August's greatest treats.
Did you know that watermelon is made up of more than 90% water? That makes it one of nature's best ways to stay hydrated during these hot Georgia days. It's also packed with vitamins A and C, plus lycopene—the powerful antioxidant that gives watermelon its vibrant red color and has been linked to heart health.

More Than Soap—A Family Tradition
Some of the best businesses begin with a simple passion. For Mandy and John, that passion was goats.
When Mandy brought home her first goats in 1988, she fell in love with their curious personalities and gentle nature. Over the years, that small herd grew, and so did the family's dream. In 2013, they transformed their love for their animals into Leaping Goat Soap—a business built on hard work, quality, and family.
Every member of the family plays a role. Mandy and John are joined by their three children—Daniel, Samantha, and Dr. Zoe. Samantha and her husband, Matt, help craft the soaps, work the farmers markets, and never pass up the chance to cuddle the farm's adorable baby goats during kidding season. Dr. Zoe, the family's veterinarian, helps keep the herd healthy and thriving, while her husband, Tyler, is always ready to lend a hand. Daniel also helps with the many jobs that come with farm life, pitching in wherever he's needed to keep the family operation running smoothly.
One thing you'll quickly notice is how much this family genuinely loves their goats. They know each one by its personality, take pride in giving them exceptional care, and believe that happy, healthy animals make all the difference. It's a philosophy that's reflected in every bar of soap they create.
Their handcrafted goat milk soaps are made in small batches using the traditional cold-process method, allowing the natural goodness of the fresh goat milk and carefully selected ingredients to shine through.
